As a gold partner of Impinj, Seuic is honored to be one of the first companies to support this cutting-edge technology, applying Gen2X to our RFID readers, greatly expanding its range of applications.

What is Gen2X?

Impinj Gen2X is an enhancement to the RAIN radio standard, that speeds inventory, increases tag read range, declutters the environment, protects consumers, inhibits tag and item counterfeiting, and reduces solution cost.

What performance improvements does Gen2X offer?

1. Tag-to-Reader Link Enhancements

Improves reader sensitivity by 3-5 dB with improved preamble, back scatter modulation, error detection, pilot tone and symbol encoding.

2. Power Boost

Improves tag sensitivity by up to 2 dB by allowing readers to deliver more power to tags during tag startup.

3. Tag Link

Reduces cross-reads in multi-reader deployments by utilizing session-based RN16 parity to allow readers to discriminate which reader a tag's response is intended for.

4. Tag Quieting

Increases tag-of-interest inventory speeds by providing readers session and select flag options in M700 and M800 series tag chips that can be used to silence inventoried tags
