How does RFID Reader Work?
RFID reader communicates with the RFID tag through radio frequency, when the signal approaches the RFID tag, the antenna inside the tag will receive the signal and activate it. The tag will transmit the stored data back to RFID Reader through a feedback signal, and then the RFID Reader will decode and process the data.
There are two main communication methods for RFID Reader:
1. ProactiveActive RFID Reader has strong signal transmission capabilities, it can actively communicate with tags, which is suitable for reading tags over long distances.
2. PassivePassive RFID Reader relies on the energy transmitted by RFID tags to activate and communicate, which is suitable for short distance reading and low-power application scenarios.

What are the specific applications of RFID reader?
1. Logistics and Supply Chain Management
By using AUTOID UTouch RFID reader can quickly read key information about item transmission, such as delivery time, destination, quantity, etc., helping to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual errors, achieving real-time inventory management and positioning of goods.
2. Retail industry
Using the AUTOID UTouch RFID reader can help retailers track and manage inventory in real-time, improving the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management.
3. Asset Management
AUTOID UTouch RFID reader can achieve precise identification and tracking of assets. Especially for large enterprises or organizations, it can help them accurately record, manage, and schedule assets, thereby improving efficiency, reducing losses, and enhancing asset security.
